Russian Tea Room Opened in Skipton!
Yes! The Russian Tea Room has finally opened on Skipton’s famous high street. After a magnificent launch to local dignitaries and the media, with a Tea Tasting for four of the original Calendar Girls and Harry Gratian on BBC Look North, The Russian Tea Room opens its doors to the public.
Combining a retail Emporium, selling everything from Caviar to Vodka, T Shirts to Russian Dolls, jewellery to wood craft, with a high quality Tea Room, means that there is definitely something for everyone!
The Russian Tea Room has over 160 leaf Teas to choose from – either to drink in the splendid surroundings of the Tea Room, or to purchase by weight and take home. Staff are on hand to talk you through how to find your favourite tea from the varieties on offer: Black Teas, Flavoured Teas, Green Teas, Speciality Teas, Tea Flowers and Herbal Teas.
Formerly David Goldies Mens and Countrywear shop, the grade two listed Georgian Town House provides the perfect environment to spend time experiencing new and exotic flavours and products from Russia.
Commenting on the opening, Olga Penney, owner of the Russian Tea Room said, “It is fantastic that we are now open!
